Is germany a good post to be at for the u.s. army?

i know there is the 170th infantry division and the 170th infantry div.. are those good infantry divisions do they dep-loy alot? is it worthe it to be stationed that far away from the states? wld you recomend that post to someone who wants to get deployed often? whats those post like? what units are they as far as are they light infantry like i want?
