Does any one else feel like stealing a page from Monty Python?

Religious belief can never be accepted as a good enough reason for intolerance of others. Whether it is how fundamentalist Muslims treat cartoonists and freedom of expression or how Christian fundamentalists treat s and freedom of expression, intolerance of diversity in society can never have legal sanction, regardless if the particular group believes that their belief has divine sanction or not. "Acceptable" by one group's standards will inevitably be "unacceptable" by some other group so civic laws can only be ped on the basis of protecting the safety and security of the general populace, not upon the grounds of what a group considers a "sin."
