What's the difference between jail and being arrested?

Being arrested is a cop's way of bonding, by giving you a set of nickel plated bracelets.Jail is the cop's home away from home where you are invited to stay for a while. Together, you, the bracelets and jail is a term called, incarceration. And since you didn't go to jail you were released on an appearance ticket or ROR as we call it (released on recognizance) or however you spell it. The Courts should only give you a restraining order from not being within so many feet from the school, residence, phone and computer. Anything relating to contacting her. These only last for a year but, must be renewed should the Aunt decide to do so. If you didn't go to jail then, chances are, you won't go to jail when you do go back to court, either.
